WDW: Dapper Day (Fall 2016)

Who doesn't love to dress to impress?! Dapper Day is a fashionable outing to Disney Parks that happens twice a year. Asher and I attended our first Dapper Day in Spring of 2016 at Magic Kingdom. We loved how much fun it was to dress up and take pictures around the park so this time we invited family to tag along. My brother, sister-in-law and nephew joined our adventure!

Last event I wore a tulle skirt. I loved how lightweight it was so I decided to buy a similar skirt for this event. Plus, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to twirl around like a princess in a flowing skirt.

This fall event was in Epcot during the Food and Wine Festival. I had never been so it was the perfect time to take a day trip down to Orlando. We stopped at the Germany Pavilion to have pretzels and grapefruit beer...YUM!

The photographer told us to look surprised and face towards Isabella's open hand.
They added Ratatouille to our picture...how fun!
The Mickey to my Minnie...#cheesy
Asher looked so handsome wearing his best! I loved matching with him.

This Dapper Day we decided to put Barron, my nephew, in his first bow tie. He was confused at first but his outfit definitely outdid everyone in the park and he owned it!
Follow my sister-in-law's blog...she is always updating about this cutie pie!

Shout out to Barron for being such an amazing baby at the park. He smiled all day and flirted with all the girls.
Also, he did not cry once. Isabella is one lucky momma!
The boys!
I hope you guys enjoyed my post. Stay tuned for more Disney posts, I will be coming back for Christmas! Hope to see you at the next Dapper Day in Spring 2017!

Day Trip: Savannah, GA

I think the best part of living in Northeast Florida is how close I am to multiple places. I often take day trips down to Orlando or up to Amelia Island. Asher and I had been planning to take a trip to Savannah and we finally checked it off our list this weekend!

Savannah is absolutely gorgeous and has the best shops, food and atmosphere. It was beautiful weather, 65 degrees with a cool breeze. It definitely felt like fall, which we barely experience in the south.

When we first got there, we stopped to eat brunch at B. Matthew's Eatery. It was the perfect place to experience Historic Savannah's southern charm. We ate upstairs in a room with brick walls, wood floors and pendant lantern lights...so cute!
I had the Shrimp & Grits...so yummy! Asher had two buttermilk pancakes with eggs and bacon.
The pancakes were amazing, I was so tempted to take one for myself.
After brunch we shopped down Broughton Street. All of the stores were adorable. However, my favorite stop was The Paris Market. The store holds different vendors with a quirky, hip vibe. The layout of the store was so aesthetically pleasing. Not to mention the products were the cutest! They have a little cafe on the main level that has all my favorites...marble tables, macarons, white tile, iced coffee, glass beverage bottles, rose lighting, etc.

Asher got a coke and I got a pink lemonade to go with our macarons. I chose the flavors Cappucino, Salted Caramel and Snickers. The Salted Caramel was to die for! They were so gooey and delicious.
The scenery went so well with my new Rebecca Minkoff Bucket Bag that I scored at Nordstrock Rack for  $48!

For the rest of the day, we walked around the streets of Downtown Savannah. We got lost multiple times as there are so many Squares that look the same. Overall, it was such a great experience walking through history and taking in the gorgeous scenery. We even stopped in Chippewa Square, where Forrest Gump's bus bench scene was filmed!

Asher got me hooked on Land Rover Defenders so whenever I see one, I take a picture.
We tried to eat at Leopold's Ice Cream, which is a favorite in Savannah, but the line was very long. It will be a must stop when we come back. We also passed this gorgeous 1920's theater, Lucas Theatre.

The architecture in Savannah was so beautiful. It reminded me just how great the South really is. It also made me want a historic home in a southern city even more. A girl can dream!

I hope you enjoyed my first travel blog post!
